Toutefois, ces rev\u00eatements sont rendus possible gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une liaison entre le m\u00e9tal et des atomes de soufre, mais cette liaison peut \u00eatre facilement bris\u00e9e par de la chaleur ou une r\u00e9action avec de l\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne. Des chercheurs ont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 des rev\u00eatements qui remplacent la liason m\u00e9tal-soufre avec une liason m\u00e9tal-carbone plus r\u00e9sistante.
