M\u00eame temporaire, cela place ces femmes \u00e0 risque de d\u00e9velopper du diab\u00e8te de type 2 plus tard dans leur vie. Des chercheurs ont men\u00e9 une analyse de chimie sanguine sur ces femmes et ont montr\u00e9 que les femmes ayant d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 du diab\u00e8te de grossesse ou de type 2 avaient une concentration plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e d\u2019une mol\u00e9cule nomm\u00e9e CMPF. Ils ont ensuite montr\u00e9 que le CMPF interf\u00e8re avec les cellules produisant de l\u2019insuline dans le pancr\u00e9as.
