Researchers studied archival breast cancer DNA from three cohorts of post-menopausal and pre-menopausal patients with hormone receptor\u2013positive breast cancer and found associations with poor clinical outcomes in estrogen receptor\u2013positive breast cancer for mutations in the genes\u00a0NF1,\u00a0PIK3R1, and\u00a0DDR1.
