Par exemple, une ville\u00a0dans un climat froid comme Toronto peut moderniser ses b\u00e2timents afin de les rendre plus \u00e9co\u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques et ainsi r\u00e9duire les co\u00fbts de chauffage.
