The authors used an internet survey with 1,516 adults from Quebec who ranked 55 sexual fantasies and wrote their own favourite.<\/p>\n<p>The survey indicated that men have more fantasies, describe them more vividly than women, and fantasize much more about extramarital relationships compared to women.<\/p>\n<p>The survey also revealed that\u00a0few fantasies were considered rare (endorsed by less than 2.3 per cent\u00a0of participants) or typical (endorsed by more than 84.1\u00a0per cent\u00a0of the population).
