Auparavant, de l\u2019eau avait \u00e9t\u00e9 seulement d\u00e9tect\u00e9e sur des exoplan\u00e8tes plus grosses, de la taille de Jupiter.<\/p>\n<p>Les auteurs ont utilis\u00e9 une technique appel\u00e9e la spectroscopie par transmission avec laquelle ils ont analys\u00e9 le spectre de lumi\u00e8re provenant de l\u2019exoplan\u00e8te HAT-P-11b afin de d\u00e9tecter la pr\u00e9sence de mol\u00e9cules d\u2019eau dans son atmosph\u00e8re.
