Ils ont observ\u00e9 que les ouistitis ont la m\u00eame vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de prot\u00e9ine cellulaire de surface (DPP4) que les cellules humaines. Le MERS-CoV utilise cette prot\u00e9ine comme point d\u2019ancrage avant d\u2019envahir une cellule. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Les ouistitis deviennent aussi malades que les humaines lorsqu\u2019infect\u00e9s par ce coronavirus, contrairement aux autres mod\u00e8les animaux habituels comme les souris, les furets et les hamsters.
