Researchers measured mercury levels during several recent expeditions to the Atlantic, Pacific, Southern and Arctic oceans. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The research team\u00a0found that mercury content of surface water had three times the amount of mercury compared to the levels found in \u2018unaffected\u2019 deep waters.
