Les ascl\u00e9piades sont des plantes qui fournissent en nectar de nombreux insectes et papillons. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\">Des \u00e9tudes pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes avaient aussi montr\u00e9 du doigt la perte du couvert forestier au Mexique et les \u00e9v\u00e8nements m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques extr\u00eames caus\u00e9s par les changements climatiques.<\/span>Toutefois, un nouveau mod\u00e8le informatique sur la migration des papillons montre que ces deux facteurs ont moins d\u2019importance sur le d\u00e9clin des monarques que le d\u00e9clin des ascl\u00e9piades.
