Pour ce faire, ils ont \u00e9tudi\u00e9 des cellules canc\u00e9reuses en laboratoire et ont trouv\u00e9 qu\u2019elles avaient des concentrations plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es d\u2019une famille d\u2019enzymes appel\u00e9e UGT1A et une autre appel\u00e9e GLI1. Ensemble, l\u2019activit\u00e9 de ces enzymes produit de l\u2019acide glucuronique qui vient interf\u00e9rer avec les m\u00e9dicaments cens\u00e9s tuer les cellules canc\u00e9reuses.
