Des chercheurs ont utilit\u00e9 des mesures GPS et ont constat\u00e9 que les terres autour de la vall\u00e9e se soul\u00e8vent \u00e0 un rythme de 1 \u00e0 3 mm par ann\u00e9e en r\u00e9action avec l\u2019ass\u00e8chement de la nappe phr\u00e9atique.
