News feeds and social media
The best way for journalists to keep up with the latest info from the Science Media Centre of Canada is to join our mailing list. Registered journalists receive a biweekly “heads-up” email noting any upcoming papers, public lectures, or other media-worthy events in the world of science.
Registration is free and can be completed by filling out our online registration form. Please allow up to 24 hours for your details to be processed.
Some materials provided by SMCC are subject to media embargoes. Strict adherence to these embargoes is mandatory and failure to do so will result in loss of access to the SMCC’s resources.
Once any embargoes have lifted, many of our news stories are posted to the main page of our website. News items can be sorted by category.
